Offline: Little screens
November 06, 2006 | OfflineI was sitting in front of Target today. I had my cellphone. I don’t surf the web or text message with it. But I was thinking, “I could check my email…“. I’m kinda glad I have opted against this convenience. First of all, I can call someone, talk, and say I have to go now. Text messaging means I could continue the conversation for a longer period since it doesn’t really disrupt my attention to other things.
And then, who reads that small of a screen. My gosh, you have to press like eight buttons to read a short message. I’ve started typing calendar notes, but I don’t know. I guess you get use to it. (I’m not going blind!!)
Perhaps I’m a little offline today.
